Well, not quite, but isn’t that the goal of any advertising campaign really?
The UCDA is re-committing to getting our brand out in front of consumers; the buyers who keep our members’ lights on.
The message to purchasers is simple: look for the UCDA sign if you’re thinking of buying a used vehicle from a dealer. We hope to drive business to our members across Ontario because, after all, our members work hard to follow our Code of Ethics, education opportunities, communications, search services and messaging to enhance their professionalism.
It does not mean a dealer is bad because they are not a UCDA member, but it does mean, for consumers, a dealer who is a member has access to resources to help them be even better.
So, come September, look for us at OHL games in your local communities, in rinks and community centres where your kids play, on social media, on streaming services like Netflix, on TV, on radio and on platforms like Reddit.
This campaign takes a multi-layered approach designed to build province-wide awareness, reinforce the trust of UCDA-authorized dealers, and drive active consideration among Ontario’s used vehicle shoppers.
Our approach combines broad-reach broadcast mediums with high-intent digital targeting and localized methods to ensure the UCDA message is present throughout the entire consumer journey.
